It has been a while since I posted any update. Now the last report is submitted, finals are over and the waiting for grades has started.
The last couple of weeks flashed by in a blink. Everything followed up very quickly and there was always a new deadline to meet just a few days apart. The amount I learned from the courses was tremendous.
Now it is time to say goodbye to New York, my home for the past semester, and all the amazing people I met here. They are too many to sum up. It was truly a great experience! The combination of another university in a world city is really remarkable.
One of the common sceneries from past weeks: Columbia Morningside campus late in the evening after working on an assignment. It was covered in a beautiful, fresh carpet of snow.

During a study break I went to the Low Loung at Low Library. The one and only Columbia Lion was there. Roar Lions Roar! Wonder if he would be friends with the VTK lion ?

I acquired new knowledge as Electrical Engineer, I have grown as a person and I am filled with gratitude and joy to be able to have embarked on this adventure. But it does not feel as an ending, more as new chapter in my academic career and life. Therefore, I would like to thank the faculty of Engineering sciences and Department of Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven for helping with all the administrative work and for offering such an exchange. Also, Nokia Bell Labs to enable me to live such experience, I am very grateful. And lastly I would like to thank my friends and family for their continuous support even if I was an Ocean apart.
I hoped you enjoyed reading this blog,
Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2020
